Bringing allies, self-advocates and athletes together for NDSS

Run for 3.21 with the national Down Syndrome Society

A 250 mile adventure, the Run for 3.21 took a team of 21 allies, self-advocates and athletes from the Nationโ€™s Capitol to the steps of the United Nations. This amazing run culminated in a presentation at the UN on World Down Syndrome Day, which showcased the mission of the NDSS: to enhance the quality of life for all people with Down syndrome, help them realize their aspirations and become valued members of welcoming communities. From ideation, route design and athlete recruiting to the snowy finish in front of the UN, we were there with NDSS every step of the way.
