Much like training and competing in an endurance event, building your brand can be tough. Good thing that our founder, Mary Arnold, is tougher. With over a decade of experience in sports and fitness marketing in New York City and thousands of race miles behind her, Mary is uniquely qualified to help you reach your brand and marketing goals. She has worked with brands from large global corporations, including Nike, Adidas, New Balance and The North Face, to local fitness studios to drive traffic, sales and affinity in the active interest market.
While she has enjoyed all of the projects and partnerships along the way, one of her most treasured events brought over 800 people to a themed run/book signing/afterparty with author Matt Inman (The Oatmeal). Participants were immersed in the comic, being chased by costumed, corpulent demons pelting them with gummy snacks through Central Park. Afterwards they were treated to cake and Nutella while the author patiently signed a delightfully weird assortment of items from vintage t-shirts to a giant bottle of Siracha.
Mary got her start in the fitness industry way back in 2005 as a running coach and has been going non-stop since. Along the way she has managed specialty running stores, endurance teams and national marketing divisions. She’s lead the NYC chapter of November Project, a global enterprise dedicated to bringing free fitness to the communities of 43 cities across the world. In her spare time, she trains for ultra-distance (>26.2 miles) races that have taken her on adventures from the mountains of Leadville, Colorado to the Dolomites of Cortina d' Ampezzo, Italy.
